I was so grossed out I can only now bear to write about it.
But (with a freshly-bought sack of flour) the chicken was delicious.

Blame it on Lepidoptera
I was going to blog about the giant batch of delicious pan-fried chicken I whipped up, but in the process of making it when I was ready to dredge I reached for the sealed Ziploc containing my flour and discovered it contained, yes, my sack of white flour and, fine, my sack of wheat flour and EEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWW about a zillion pantry moths.

ReplyDeleteAnd this is why smart cooks (like you!) keep their flour in sealed containers (also corn meal, barley, etc) - because it could have been soooo much worse. I hate to even think about having to clean up a pantry full of moths. Ugh.
